October Favorites | 2013

Today's video is all about my favorites from the past month! OCTOBER! Crazy that is gone...this year is almost over. Christmas is almost here!?!?!? WHAT!?!?!? Anyway's I have been loving a lot of products this month. One holly grail product which is the Kate SummerVille Eradikate! It has changed my life acne wee! I have cystic acne and I break out hormonally. Do to health reasons my hormones are all over the place. Not that I am crying every day of the week or yelling every day but my organs and internal self is all out of sack. The reason I tell you this, is to inform those of you who have the same problem.

Outfit | Girls Night Out!

Hey lovely ladies and gentleman! Todays outfit is definitely something I would wear out for drinks with the girls or even a casual dinner date with Garrett! I love how earthy the look is but it also shows that you know how to dress yourself! I hope it is helpful! 

My jacket is a must for me and I am sure you can tell I love it because it has been styled 1000+ ways on here lol! It is from JC Penny!  

My skirt is from the LC Collection at Kohl's.  

 

My shirt is Simply Vera by Vera Wang at Kohl's. 

My shoes are Bevin by JustFab. By far the most comfy pair of heels I own and they were my second buy from JustFab. Still available btw ;-)

My necklaces are from Forever 21 except for the blue jeweled one which was my grandmothers.

Outfit | Brighten Up Rainy Day's

Hello lovlies! Here is an outfit I wore to brighten up a very gloomy, rainy day here in Louisiana! I have worn this shirt and necklace combo quite a lot but never have I paired it with even louder bottoms. I hope you enjoy and to see were everything is from then just scroll down! 

My shorts are from belk. They are very comfy and perfect for the warmer weather. 

My necklace was on 75% off at Belk! So exciting since it is of amazing quality! 

My top is from Belk as well and it feels so luxurious and falls perfectly. Defiantly my favorite shirt for the past few months! 

My Shoes are from APT. 9 at Kohl's.

My gold chain bracelet was from a little boutique in town however I have seen a lot like them at Forever 21. 

My handbag is Taj Mahal from JustFab.

Outfit | LBD turned Casual

Hello guys! I hope you are all having an amazing Saturday or what ever day you are seeing this post! I wanted to not only try out the new semi-sheer trend but I also wanted to dress down my LBD (aka Little Black Dress) I hope you enjoy! 

My dress is from JC Penny! It is a very trendy piece for fall to have semi sheer clothing.

My necklace is from Forever 21 and my belt is from Francesca's Collections.

My crossbraclete was a birthday gift and my watch is Camille by Michael Kors.

Outfit | Faux Leather Flair

Hello guy's so second time is the charm! I took pictures of this outfit wednesday so it would be up Thursday. Our power went off and I lost a lot of photos and video footage. Wedding Guest OOTD/OOTN

Hey guys so I went to an old high school friends wedding last week! It was on August 3rd which is also me and Garrett's 8 year dating anniversary!  I was asked to read a verse well chapter lol. I was so happy to participate in their wedding but I am horrified of public speaking. 

So on the mannequin is what I had in mind but when I put the big yellow flower necklace on it was way too much for an elegant wedding. My second option was mu simple and classic pearl necklace which made my outfit look effortless, classy and trendy at the same time!

My dress is from Francesca's Boutique, Necklace was from Belk and my shoes are Aviero from JustFab!

I made Garrett stare at the camera for too long so his eyes got really red and watery, haha! Don't we just look so snazzy together haha!

Outfit | There is Beauty in Everything

Hey guy's! So here is another OOTD that I am obsessed with! The shirt just makes me so happy :-) It reads " There is beauty in everything but not everyone can see it."  I want to get this tattooed on me somewhere because it says so much and is a just a beautiful saying! My jacket is from JC Penny and my most worn jacket since I got it a few months back! 

 

My shirt is MNG by Mango Jeans from JC Penny. It is a very soft cotton T. It was a little pricy for $15 but I just had to have it! 

 My jeans are boyfriend jeans from LC Collection at Kohl's. They fit me perfectly. They hug me in all the right places and hang off me in all the right places. The distressed look and rips bring me back!

My heels are Aviero and my bag is Rowling! Yes, they are both JustFab items and still available!  

 My sunglasses are St. Barts from JustFab! 

My necklace is from Forever 21!

Outfit | Polka Dotting It

Hey guys so I wanted to share an outfit featuring a dress that opened my eyes to dresses. As some of you guys may know, I am not a dress girl. I have always preferred pants. 

The reason being I never had a comfy dress that I could move and stay in for more then an hour without going crazy. Until I found this on I am wearing below. I wore it 2 days in a row. First time was to a engagement shower and the next was to church-lunch-shopping day. It was the perfect length (until Garrett washed it with the other cloths and it shrunk :-( but I do't hold a grudge lol) 

When I sat down it covered my knees perfectly and gave my legs a lot of room to breath. Their also was no bunching any wear it flowed perfectly! I wore this dress with jackets both times because it has a stretchy material that looks really cheap on the back were the zipper comes together. Anyways I love this "gateway" dress and I hope you enjoy how I style it!

 My dress is from TJ Max but the designer is Fire Los Angeles! My belt is from Francesca's and it is my goto brown synching belt! Absolutely love it!

My necklaces from top to bottom: my Grandmothers, gift from Garrett and its from redenvelope.com and lastly Forever 21 Eiffel Tower. I have been obsessed with layering necklaces lately all ranging from extreme to dainty pieces like this.

My shoes I got on sale at Belk recently and they are by Guess. I saw them from across the store (impressive since they are nude right?!?) and ran to get them. They just happen to be in my size and I couldn't pass them on because who doesn't need a basic nude pump! They are timeless! So I snatched it up and can not get enough of them!

My Jacket is from my brother lol! I don't know why that is so funny to me but it was his blazer when he was little and it fits me like a glove! The 1/4 length sleeve is just a huge plus! My watch is Camille by Michael Kors!

Outfit | Rockin' the Fedora

Hello guy's! I hope you all are having an amazing week so far! Todays outfit was all about hanging out at the book store, sipping on some coffee and enjoying the day with Garrett (my husband) I love the feel of this outfit! It kept me protected from the sun outside and the cool A/C inside. I hope you Enjoy! 

 My fedora is from Target and my sunnies are St. Barts from JustFab

 My Blazer and floral bleached jeans are from the Lauren Conrad Collection at Kohl's. I love the LC Collection A LOT not only for the style and fashion forward prints but also the cut and fit!

 My bag is from a little boutique from the New Orleans River Walk. JustFab has some like this one. 

My arm candy consists of my MK Camille watch, a leather strap from Florence, Italy and a bracelet from Forever 21.

My shirt is from a store called Bengal's and Bandits here in Baton Rouge and I love it! It is the first sports shirt that fit like a fashionable flowy shirt.

My favorite go to pair of heels are Aviero from JustFab! They are amazingly comfy but I didn't wear these while I was walking around all day! I had on my Peg flats from JustFab.

OOTD | JustFab Jeans and a lot of Layering!!!

Hey guys so here we have another layering post! I just can not get enough! I am also featuring my favorite pair of Jeans! I also show you how to make it more day time appropriate while still using the trend! So read on to get more info about my outfit! 

 

My favorite pair of skinnies come from JustFab.com they are in their Signature Skinny Solid line. They are in the color dark medium. I love them because they have a slightly high waist for added comfort. They have a little stretch to them without being too stretchy. My favorite part is the fit. Especially around my calves and ankle. Perfect pair of shoes for boot season as well as showing off your favorite pair of pumps!  

 

My cardigan is from the LC Collection at Kohl's. If I want to glam up a t-shirt or basic top this is what I add.

My black top is from MNG by Mango at JC Penny. It is my go to basic black top. I also spotted, the other day, that they had a baby blue almost mint colored version of this top. I might be going back!

My necklaces are Oh My Gosh!!! I am in love! The only way this combo worked is the gold hardware and that they were all bigger necklaces. The only item that wasn't from Forever 21 is the flower bib necklace at the top. It was from Belk. I am so obsessed with layering necklaces. I bet you can't tell! 

My sunnies are called St. Barts and they are $10 at JustFab!

I do understand how the necklaces above can seem a little daunting. So with this picture I show you how taking off a few of the necklaces can make it more day time appropriate. Just the other day I just wore the flower necklace with the blue jewel one. It looked amazing and I got a lot of complements on it. 

These items are both from JustFab! The Purse - Taj Mahal now only sold in ( pink, black and brown) and the Shoes - Imperia 

To make it more day time appropriate I wore the same bag but opted for some flats! These are my go to "go with everything" shoe from Target! I have had them for a year now and cannot get enough !

I hope you enjoyed my outfit as much as I did! I also want to say how important it is to wear what makes you happy and not care what others think. Layering this many necklaces is defiantly a statement and will get a lot of attention. I say wear just two necklaces together and slowly over time build it up. That is exactly what I did and I have no problem now wearing something this bold! I hope this post was helpful!
